Research

As an urban data scientist and researcher, I explore how social, civic, and environmental infrastructure adapts to increasing urbanization and societal transitions. My research employs innovative urban big data analysis, participatory social surveys, and machine learning/statistical methods. I am particularly passionate about cross-disciplinary collaborations that bridge engineering, social science, and art & design, focusing on the design, construction, and management of urban built environments to enhance sustainability, inclusiveness, and resilience. I hold a PhD from Newcastle University..
